MEMORIA

A PLACE BUILT FROM MEMORIES

OLD CONSOLES, INSIDE EORZEA

Memoria is a plugin that plays old console games in a window inside Final Fantasy XIV, styled after a Final Fantasy menu. Wait for a queue with Tetris, or sit in your house with an old favourite. Save states, battery saves, and a controller if you have one.

WHAT IT PLAYS

SLOT 3SOLID

Plays well, with saves.

SLOT 4PLAYS

SLOT 5IN PROGRESS

SLOT 6IN PROGRESS

SLOT 7IN PROGRESS

PlayStation 2

Still being built. Some games run well, others not at all.

WHAT IT NEEDS

Memoria comes with no games, no discs and no BIOS files. You bring those, from what you own.

FFXIV with Dalamudrequired

Launch the game through XIVLauncher. If you use plugins already, you have this.

Your own gamesrequired

Cartridges as .nes .gb .gbc .sfc .sms .gg .gba, PlayStation discs as .chd or .cue, PlayStation 2 discs as .iso.

BIOSfor the consoles that need one

Some consoles need their BIOS to run. Use the one from your own console.

A controlleroptional

The keyboard works and every key can be changed. To use a controller, untick Enable gamepad in FFXIV's own settings so it controls Memoria and not your character.

A PC with room to sparerecommended

Memoria runs alongside FFXIV, so it draws on your PC's performance. Be mindful of what else you have running.

INSTALL

It installs through Dalamud's plugin installer like any other plugin. Two minutes.

Add the repository

In game, open Dalamud settings (/xlsettings), go to Experimental, then Custom Plugin Repositories. Paste this, press +, and save:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CorkedFever/memoria-emulator/main/repo.json

Install the plugin

Open the plugin installer (/xlplugins), search for Memoria, install it.

Add your games

/rom opens the window. Point it at the folder your games are in, and they show up in the library.
